About JoyBeing Guidance

‘I have to be good and kind to keep the peace. I have to take care of others to be safe. I have to adapt, not take up too much space, and avoid expressing uncomfortable emotions in order to belong.’

Early in life, I developed survival strategies to receive love and safety. For many years, my life revolved around doing for and giving to others – often mistaken for being helpful and empathetic, but in the body experienced as stress.

When my body began to say no – both physically and mentally – I stopped fighting it and started listening. By reconnecting with my inner voice, I found the answers and the safety I needed to live my truth. Read more about me and my journey here.

My name is Emma, and I’m the founder of JoyBeing Guidance. My purpose is to give back. In a safe and supportive space, you are invited to gently exhale, let go and reconnect with your inner safety and truth – with who you have always been, before layers of fear and sorrow may have caused you to forget.
